About Me

I am working as a professor in School of Computer Science and Technology (SCST), Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). Prior to joining BIT, I had worked as a research assistant professor within the Singtel Cognitive and Artificial Intelligence Lab for Enterprises (SCALE) in Nanyang Technological University from 2020 to 2021.

I obtained my PhD in computer science from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in Feburary 2018, under the supervision of Professor Gao Cong. I obtained my Bachelor degree from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Beihang University, China, under the supervision of Professor Shuai Ma.

Research Interest

My main research interests include spatial database management and graph database. I am particularly interested in

• Querying geo-tagged stream

• Spatial data visualization

• Efficient processing of spatial queries

• Graph and social data analysis
